Why subscribe to Knowledge Problem?

I’ve been learning, thinking about, and doing economics professionally for over three decades, and most of that time I’ve been absorbed in thinking about the thorniest of problems for markets, situations like regulated utilities or common-pool resources with ill-defined property rights. Economics provides a solid analytical framework for structuring how we think about governance questions in these thorny situations, and I want to sing from the rooftops the elegance and relevance of those ideas for 21st century governance, especially regulatory policy, in the face of vibrant technological change and other unknown, changing conditions that we grapple with heading into our uncertain futures.
