I was planning to write today. Not happening. All writers, academics, researchers have days like this, but that doesn’t make them any less frustrating. I’m having a weird issue with one of my eyes, pressure in one area causing retinal tugging and occluding my vision. It’s also causing migraines, aura and all, and is oddly fatiguing, like my brain is working in overdrive to compensate for whatever weirdness this is contributing to my neural networks. My retina is not detached and my optic nerve is healthy, I don’t have macular degeneration, and I don’t have any of the contributory diseases like Type II diabetes, so it’s a bit of a mystery.
